The biblical values that lead us
We are Holy Spirit-Led
We value the wisdom of the Holy Bible to elevate individual and family life. We are led by the Holy Spirit to fulfill God’s plans and meet the needs of those we serve.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
We serve in love
We love one another and our communities with the love of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
We serve with compassion, devoted to treating everyone with empathy, dignity and respect.
We act in Unity
Work together as though you are working for the Lord. We cherish the opportunities we are given to serve others, acknowledging that we are accountable to God and we strive to deliver on the promises we make.
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” 1 Corinthians 1:10
We do what honors God and builds up one another
We treat one another with great value and honesty. By being trustworthy and showing Godly character, we build trusted relationships and do right by those we serve.
“So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.” Romans 14:19 ESV
We do Good Works
We prayerfully get things done, we are mission driven and use wisdom to adapt to challenges, encouraging one another and getting needs met.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
